A surgeon's journey across three continents
I did not become a surgeon to perform as many operations as possible. I became one to give people clear answers, and the safest possible care, in moments that feel frightening and uncertain.
I am a Swedish Board-Certified Consultant General Surgeon, certified since 2013, and I have practised across Sweden, the United States and the UAE. My training runs through Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Level I trauma at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in the USA, and military surgical training with the Swedish Armed Forces, experience that taught me calm, precise judgement under pressure.
I specialise in hernias, gallbladder disease, stomach and bowel disorders, weight-loss surgery, emergency and trauma surgery, and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, with particular skill in advanced minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques. At American Hospital Dubai I combine Scandinavian precision with international expertise, and a simple belief that surgery should only be recommended when it truly benefits you.
